For the fourth consecutive year, MARMOURIS S.A. participated as Grand Sponsor of ESO 2026, the leading architecture and design conference held on 13 May at the Athens Concert Hall. The event brought together thousands of architects, designers, engineers, and professionals from the construction and creative industries.

Through the strong presence of THE SOURCE, MARMOURIS S.A. continued to foster dialogue around contemporary architecture, innovative materials, and emerging approaches to design, reaffirming its long-standing commitment to supporting the creative community and staying at the forefront of industry developments.

This year’s ESO conference, centred on the theme “Negotiation, not Compromise: Design as a Dialogue Between Earth, Technology and Humanity”, once again highlighted the importance of architecture as a catalyst for culture, sustainability and social progress. Through presentations, talks and discussions featuring leading professionals from Greece and abroad, participants had the opportunity to explore the emerging trends shaping the future of design and the built environment.

The event also hosted the eighth Archisearch Lifetime Achievement Awards, honouring three distinguished figures in Greek creative thought. The awards were presented to engineer and inventor Dimitris Korres, to architect and academic Andreas Kourkoulas, and visual and performance artist Leda Papaconstantinou, in recognition of their significant contributions to creativity, architecture, art and innovation.

As part of the ESO 2026 parallel events, the Alumni Cocktail Event for sponsors and speakers was held on 12 May at the NEW Hotel in Athens, offering another opportunity for industry professionals to meet and exchange ideas ahead of the main event.

Similarly, the ESO 2026 After Dinner was held at Cookoovaya restaurant, with the participation of distinguished architects and industry professionals. MARMOURIS S.A. CEO Evangelia Marmouri and Marketing Manager Nancy Tastsoglou hosted Alexandros Zomas (Micromega Architects), Nikitas Hatzimichalis (3H Architects), and Dimitra Katsota and Stephan Bürger (Buerger Katsota Architects), for an evening filled with inspiring flavours and stories.

Through THE SOURCE, the company continues to create opportunities for new ideas, new partnerships and outstanding projects.

THE SOURCE is MARMOURIS S.A’s contemporary platform for architectural and interior design materials, offering comprehensive solutions for demanding architecture and interior design projects. With a focus on large-format surfaces and innovative material applications, new Hanex, HanStone and Infinity surface collections were presented during the event, along with two new systems of Volpato, Ellipse and Cyclos. These additions further expand the range of solutions offered by the company to industry professionals, including lighting, interior furniture organisation systems and customised applications.
