THE SOURCE represents the new corporate identity of MARMOURIS S.A., where integrated architectural material solutions and material support services come together to support architects and designers from their very first step in every project. It is our honor to support every effort that strengthens Greek architectural work in Greece and promotes it to every corner of the world. We are participating for the 3rd consecutive time and look forward to it more and more every time!
The ESO 2026 conference “Negotiation, Not Compromise. Design as a Dialogue between Earth, Technology, and Humanity” invites us to rethink architecture as a collective act. This year’s theme places architecture at the intersection of earth, technology, and humanity, arguing that meaningful design does not emerge from solitary genius, but from a continuous negotiation between different forces. In an era of climate urgency and rapid digital evolution, architecture is called upon to bridge ecology with economy, craftsmanship with the algorithm, the permanent with the ephemeral, as well as the material with the intangible.

Architecture is not an individual act. It is a continuous process of negotiation between multiple contributors: clients, communities, ecosystems, manufacturers, and the constantly evolving tools of design. The ESO conference highlights this dialogue, exploring how sustainable strategies can simultaneously be economically viable, how technological innovation can respect the traditions of craftsmanship, and how resilient and flexible structures can respond to changing climatic and cultural conditions.
The conference audience will experience projects and approaches where high-performance materials meet deep materiality, where parametric thinking respects the site, and where urban development preserves the memory and identity of the landscape.
See you at ESO 2026!
